The latest update for KESSv2 provides the following improvements:
- New protocol 260 (CUMMINS - BOMBARDIER TRACTOR RECON CM554 CAN) introduced;
- Service Pack 23 issued in Italian, English, French and Spanish, which adds new operating manuals;
- New protocol 261 (BOOTLOADER BOSCH TRICORE DDE8) introduced, dedicated to BMW/Mini vehicles equipped with DDE8 engines.
This protocol works in a similar way to 226 (BOSCH BOOTLOADER TRICORE MEDC17), except that prior to reading the car in boot mode you need to connect to the OBD plug for the acquisition of the data of the vehicle. Only then you can disassemble the unit and perform the usual operations of the bootloader tricore.
