K-Pro III
K-Pro III consists of a hardware modification to certain K-Series ECUs, plus Windows software which allows you to re-program the ECU and datalog sensors, to create a continuous connection with the processor and the EPROM. It is possible to programme, to emulate in real time, read and reset errors stored in the memory, to enable all the necessary options and through the USB connection the K-Manager software allows to acquire data in real-time. K-pro III allows a full management of the options of the original ECU.
K-Series ECU allows: the management of the supercharging up to at about 2 bar; the management of nitrous oxide; the setting of the programmable launch control which enables you to optimize the standing start lowering the limiter up to 7 kmph; the management of VTC control maps with an operating range of 50°; the opportunity to use a VTCE duel running, one for maximum performance and one for low cruising speed pace, selected by the ECU depending on the engine load; the overheating protection for enrichment carburetion. INew important features are: light blinking to signal a malware in case of engine knocking, and light blinking for datalogging The K-Manager software allows the recording of the signals arriving from 39 sensors of Honda Civic Type R; both in real time and offline up to 12 parameters can be chosen to be displayed in a graph with accuracy to the thousandth of a second and to check also acceleration and pick-up timing in addition to the working of the engine.

K-Pro enhancements

Without additional analog inputs the KPro III has twice the datalogging length capability of the previous generation KPro. With analog inputs the datalogging length is approximately the same as the previous generation.

The typical initial upload time has been reduced from over 30 seconds to under 10 seconds. Subsequent uploads are also faster.

The KPro board has eight 0-5V analog inputs, which can be used for temperature, pressure, wideband, EGT or any other input which provides a 0-5V signal. The analog values are both stored in the KPro and in any datalog made from the KPro, which means that you do not need to change the analog input settings which switching between datalogs from vehicles with different analog inputs.

Similar to the FlashPro, password protected owner information can be stored on the KPro. This results in a KPro which had owner identification which cannot be changed if stolen. Additionally, an upload security password can be used, which and renders the KPro unusable if stolen .

Similar to the FlashPro, the uploaded calibration is now stored on the KPro in a form which allows a quick and accurate download from the KPro.

For future expansion, a digital serial input is present on the KPro.
